Tour on final day of cruise

If you take a Princess tour on the last day will they hold your luggage at the ship until you return from the tour. I am curious as we are staying an extra night in Barcelona but would like to take the Princess tour. Thanks for any help with this.

I don't know about Barcelona but when we were on the Crown out of San Juan, Puerto Rico we went on a tour to the rainforest. We were in a small touring bus. The driver loaded our luggage into the bottom of the bus. When the tour was over he drove us to our hotel. It was very nice of him. Of course, he got a good tip!

Typically the tour results in a drop off at the airport, but as sun experienced perhaps you can arrange a hotel drop off instead. There are those who do B2B where the tour ends back at the ship! Wouldn't that be nice. :)

Your luggage will go with you on the tour. You must be certain the tour is ending at your hotel. Many of these last day tours ends at the airport.

We stayed one post night on RCCL Boston cruise. We learned ahead of time that they would drop us off at the airport, and we'd need to catch the airport shuttle. The catch was that the hotel RCCL booked us in didn't have a shuttle. We booked a Hop-on-Hop-off bus at the hotel, and it ended up being cheaper than what we would have gotten on RCCL.

 

Not sure how things work with Princess, but it doesn't hurt to check ahead of time to make sure your hotel has a airport courtesy shuttle to be sure you don't end up at the airport and need to come up with cab fare.
