Misty Fjords flightseeing question

Has anyone done the Misty Fjords floatplane excursion through RCCL? We'll be on the Radiance in 2010 & would like any info from anyone who might have done this-thanks in advance!

My wife and I were looking into doing that on the Radiance last summer. Then we found glowing reports on CC about Michelle and Island Wings. Glad we did trip with her. Had a great time! Would like to go with her again on our next trip. Booked many months in advance.

One thing to consider - on most of the floatplanes booked through the cruiselines, you land on a lake and stand on the pontoons for a few minutes. With Michelle (Island Wings) you land on the lake and Michelle takes the plane over to a beach area where you stay for 20 minutes or so - a much better experience!

As noted, there are several independent operators that run excellent tours.

Though getting onto land on the Misty Fjords trip is nice, the 2-for-1 coupon with Taquan Air tipped the scales toward saving $225 for two people (for me).
