cohengm Posted January 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Some say tips must be in cash, some say you can use your credit card at end. This can make a very big difference in the amount of Euros you need "on hand" for a 14 day cruise for 2. What's the very latest?
webfoot Posted January 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2010 On Avalon, we used credit cards for tips ... it is easier than trying to have handfuls of euros ... and more secure, too.
letsgo39 Posted January 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Just thought I would add that ATM's are available everywhere for needed cash. The maps the CD hands out everyday will probably have the ATM's marked. Ours were last time we cruised with Avalon.

caviargal Posted February 3, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Sorry for the ot, but where have you been? Wow. ;) How are you? I gave up ocean cruising in 2008 for land vacations so have not been posting. Then we started river cruising a few months ago so I am back.:) Sent you a friend request so we could get in without going OT.
