Shopping in Seaattle

Are there any downtown hotels that are close to a drugstore and/or grocery-liquor store? I'd like to stock up on soft drinks and wine before we leave for a cruise. Or do you know of any airport hotels VERY CLOSE to a Wal-Mart or similar? Thanks in advance.:confused:

I too have the same question. We will be staying at the Grand Hyatt at 7th and Pine Street. Thanks for info you can give me.

We went to the Bartell Drugs on Fifth and Olive. It's on the Monorail line.

Lots of travel size things here.

I work across the street from the Grand Hyatt (very nice hotel). There is a large Bartell Drugs (local drugstore chain) very close, as the other poster mentioned...under the monorail. It's about three blocks from the Hyatt. In addition to drugstore=type stuff, they have a pretty large soda selection. We office drones keep it very crowded.

 

Ask the front desk about either...downtown is small and both are a very short walk.

 

There's also an IGA (grocery store) on 3rd (the Hyatt is on 7th). Pretty good selection of wine there.

 

 

 

 

Re the Marriott, what is the address ?

Near the Homewood in Tukwila is a 7-11. They normally have a shuttle that would take you to soutchenter mall where you could probably find anything. There is also a Target store not far.

 

Near the waterfront Marriott there is a little grocery right across the stree at Bell St Pier. Your also very close to the market which has a wine shop that is pretty extensive. A few door up next to the Taxi Dogs is a grocery with a good selection. Both on Pike Place in the market.
