Pride 4237

Hi everyone. I am new to the board but not new to cruising. This will be our 8th cruise. I wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful posts. My DH and I are sailing from Baltimore on May 9th, 2010 and were previously booked in an OS cablin. I was checking the Carmival Site and found the VS had dropped in price. We just upgraded to cabin 4237 wrap aft for a whopping $10.00. I hope we made the right choice. Can't wait as it will be our 20 year anniversary.

I can't wait to hear what you think of it. I have the other corner booked for early next year!

We had this room in the fall of 2009.

You will love this cabin it's 3 separate rooms and a large bath with a balcony big enough for 20+ people. You enter the living room area with a couch, chair, table and its own TV over a desk area. Oh yea there is a big wall mirror and glasses rack. Then to your left thru a door is the dressing room with a wrap around desk area with mirrors and plenty of drawer space plus a large closet. The bathroom is off of this room also. Then thru this room you enter the bedroom. There are 2 night stands, a small table and a built in unit with another TV. Now to the best parts the bedroom has I think 3 full length windows and a doorway back into the living room. From the living room you have a door to your very private balcony which wraps the whole cabin on 2 sides and is much wider than the standard balcony's. The balcony comes with 2 reclining loungers and 2 chairs plus a table. We had this room for our 30th anniversary and I splurged for the Anniversary decorations thru the Bon Voyage dept. $36 but well worth it as they did the whole living room area. This is by far the best room we have ever had and we have done 20+ cruises. If your itinerary stops at Nassau you will be backed into the dock and Atlantis will seem like it is in your backyard, the views from the balcony are fantastic and probably saved me hundreds in the ship Casino! Have a wonderful 20th. You will enjoy this room.

We had that room on the Legend, as well as connecting 4239 for our 7 year old. It was like having a 2 bedroom suite!

We are on the Pride this month -- same cabins (4237/4239) -- our third suite. We are hooked on suites although they are 'spensive. Sounds like you got a GREAT deal! We are going to enjoy it ... and (to OP) so will you!!!

I don't suppose you could knock on 4160 and grab a quick pick of their room for me? :D

I assume you are booked in this cabin? The deck plan shows a whole bunch just like it ... maybe put out an appeal or search posts for one similar. Kinda hard to sneak a pic of a room ... just the privacy thing, you know. When is your cruise.

LOL I assure you I was being silly. :D But yes, I have 4160. There don't appear to be many of these rooms on the ship and so my repeated requests on various threads haven't produced any results. :(

4160, from my understanding, has a couch that does not convert into a bed (of course I could still make it convert, but it might not be as comfy), and supposedly it has one upper.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out where that upper is located - is it above my head when the two beds are pushed together? Is it located above the couch? Or is it located across from the two beds when pushed together? I've heard claims of all three.

I am hoping that the real answer is that the upper is located over the couch. I was so curious to the true answer that I called Carnival, and they really didn't know - she said the layout on her records showed that the upper was located across the room from the two twins??

I have observed that the uppers are directly above the couches. I also would have thought all the couches convert??? Hope you find it to your liking! Good luck!

Only 37 more Earth rotations until this balcony is mine for 12 days!! :D:D

Take good care of the cabin for us! We are on the Spirit in September. Honolulu to Ensenada. When you return, please post and tell us how you liked this cabin for your Hawaiian cruise. We have been in the main deck aft wraps several times before and they are great!
