New to Royal Caribbean, a few ?'?

Recommended Posts

We just came back from our first cruise ever, which we loved. We sailed Carnival, out of Baltimore, and are now trying to plan a cruise out of Baltimore in October of this year. It is a 5 day cruise to Bermuda on Royal Caribbean on the Enchantment of the Seas. We had a balcony room on our first cruise, but, for the 5 day cruise was thinking of an outside room. I just had a few questions about the rooms/ship. What are the outside rooms like? Are the beds comfortable? How big/small are the bathrooms?

About RCI in general, any tips anyone has? Tell me about the food, etc.

Thanks so much. We are going with some other couples, and I want to book it now so I can start planning/being obsessed. LOL

I just had a few questions about the rooms/ship. What are the outside rooms like? The outside cabins on Enchantment are 154 s.f. I thought the cabin was fine. Are the beds comfortable? The bedding on all RCI ships has been changed over the last few years. The beds are very comfortable. How big/small are the bathrooms? The bathrooms are fairly small but not terrible. I have never cruised another line so I can't compare to Carnival.

The opinion on food quality varies. Everyone has their own expectations. I find the food to be very good.

The Enchantment was the first ship we ever sailed on. We were on it in 2001, before she was stretched. She holds a special place in our hearts. I'm sure you will love her also.

We only cruise Royal Caribbean. Love the ships, food. Everyone has different opinions but we love the food. Lots of things to do, pools are fun. I think you will be happy.

Opinions are like.... well you know... It all depends on what you like and what your tastes are... I love RCI, I've been on the Explorer 5 times, most of the time, the food is good, a few times, not so much. Like aimers stated you will have fun...

Most of Carnival's rooms are 185 sq. ft. On Enchanment, an OV cabin will have 154 sq. ft and the bathroom....room to step into...they aren't large!

While the rooms aren't as spacious, the rest of the ship is avail. for your use, and RCI does a great job with the public areas!

You'll have a great trip!
