snshn3 Posted May 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2004 I know they include port charges, but I wonder if the prices they advertise include taxes as well? Nancyquilts Posted May 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2004 Can't speak for icruise, but many just include port fees, not government taxes. No wonder the prices seem too good to be true.

KerCar Posted May 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2004 From what I've seen, Icruise prices reflect port charges only some of the time. It will say right on the quote in red lettering if it does. I've noticed Carnival prices usually include port charges and NCL do not. I'm not sure about RCCL because like many of you I am still anxiously awaiting the 2005 Bayonne Itineraries. Taxes are not quoted but as the earlier poster said are usually not too much. I think about 7%. On bestpricecruises.com you can figure out the price with port charges and tax. Hope this helps
dougp26364 Posted May 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2004 The last time I check RCI prices on Icruise, the price reflected port charges but not taxes. On the last page before you book they'll give you the total price of the cruise, including taxes and insurance. There is an option to remove the charges for insurance. Shaken_Bake Posted May 29, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2004 Yes, the prices they quote do include taxes. I'm booked through icruise and went back and checked my record. Sailing on Enchantment July 5, 2004
