On FOS Deck 8...is cat Q better than N?

We are booked into a Q but I can't really tell what the big difference is between the inside categories, barring those that have some kind of view. :confused:

Location location location, just like any real estate it's the most important element.

I guess I'm still too naive lol. I have no clue what locations are optimal for an inside cabin...what is there to be near? I thought you just need them to sleep in.

The higher decks cost more. Midships cost more....in essence, the most preferred locations get more money....you need to check the deck plans and see what the sq. ftg of each cabin may be....on some ships, they have 2 sizes of inside cabins. Other than that, they're all the same...so if location isn't a factor, pick the cheaper option! Since there's no "view", you don't have to take that into consideration, but if you tend to go back and forth to the cabin alot, it's nice to be sort of near where you'll spend most of your time....and being near the stairs/elevators will be a huge timesaver....those are some LOOOOOOOOONG hallways!

Different stokes for different folks - While it is all about location, it is about what your needs are - My husband and I like a room at the front of the ship (the elevators always seem less crowded).
