Bringing wine on board

Recommended Posts

Will they give it back at the end of the cruise?

I'll be on the Legend out of Tokyo on May 10.

The week before the cruise I will be in Hokkaido.

There is a wine there that is not sold on the mainland and I would like to bring a couple of bottles back with me.

Therefore, I'd have to take it on the cruise with me. I don't mind if they hold it until the end of the cruise as long as I get it back.

Thanks

Lois

Maybe, depending upon the recent interpretation of their website rules to which you subscribe. Some things say that any alcohol confiscated will be destroyed, while recent anecdotes suggest that they are holding to the traditional "Nice try, you'll get it back the night before you disembark" policy.

Good luck.
