Carnival Breeze 2012?

If a cruise ship goes to Hawaii from Long Beach, it would have to be a round trip, with a stop in Ensenada. Princess already does this from San Pedro, so Carnival would be competing with itself if it did this.

But not at the same price point

Is it going to start a whole series of Chrysler Corp. inspired names? If so the next one better be the Carnival Charger, not Carnival Neon.:D

I was thinking the same thing when I recalled we almost bought a Plymouth Breeze 12 years ago LOL. Of course, they started the Chrysler Class years ago with Carnival (Dodge) Spirit, followed a few years later by the Carnival (Jeep) Liberty LOL. I think PT Cruiser is an obvious name LOL.

Word is that Carnival will expand the burrito bar on this 3rd Dream class ship, hence the name Carnival Breeze :p:D

Don't forget to pack your air-freshener...

I thought it was referring to the mandatory wearing of Kilts for formal night ;)

Can't wait till tomorrow to see the itinary - hopefully Greece is on the agenda

If you go to the carnival.com website http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/ships/carnival_breeze/?cid=DM_Redirect_42 it doesn't give specific itineraries, but in the "destinations" tab it lists ports. And looks like Greece is one of them, lol. ;)

Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship, the 130,000-ton Carnival Breeze, is shown here under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The 3,690-passenger vessel is slated to debut in Europe June 3, 2012, with a special 12-day cruise from Venice.

The ship will then operate a series of 12-day Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona through October 25 then reposition to Miami for year-round six- and eight-day Caribbean departures beginning November 24, 2012.

In addition to a number of signature Carnival amenities, the new 3,690-passenger vessel will introduce soothing Caribbean-inspired interiors that take their cue from the region's cool island breezes and warm tropical sunsets. Created by Germany-based Partner Ship Design, the tropical design theme will offer a combination of eye-catching colors and pastels and will be carried out in both the ship's public spaces and staterooms.

The ship's highlights will include the RedFrog Pub, a Caribbean-inspired watering hole featuring its own private label draught beer, and Cucina del Capitano, a family-style Italian restaurant that brings the heritage of Carnival's captains to the table. Its many top-deck amenities include the SportSquare recreation complex offering an exhilarating ropes course with views to the sea 150 feet below, an outdoor fitness area and mini-golf, as well as WaterWorks, a sprawling aqua park offering a host of splash-tastic features.

Sounds like fun

Just booked Carival Breeze for August 2012... Can't wait :)

Hi MrsShash;

would that happen to be the August 2nd sailing ? We are booked on that one too. There is a Roll Call for that sailing that you might want to look into.
