Horseback riding in Half Moom Cay

Has anyone done this excursion? Do the horses gallop or trot or is it a walking tour on the horses? Anyone recommend doing this tour?

I'll be doing it for my 4th time in GT a couple of weeks. Did it last time at HMC.

 

Pay a visit to the Ports of Call board (you'll find HMC under "Private Islands" under the Caribbean section). This may get moved there.

 

Several threads there with info. I'm pretty sure I posted comments. You can also find my review (Fascination 12/08) by clicking my name, then the stats tab, the threads started by me. I try to be thorough when describing the excursions.

We did this recently and it was absolutely gorgeous. If you are travelling with family make sure to let the photographer know that you would like a panoramic picture with the ship in the background because it is awesome.:p

The guys pair you up with your horse and you amble down the beach and up a winding trail back to the beach where you take a brief but fun swim with your horse. I would highly recommend this excursion.

 

CAUTION!!!!!! Wear LOTS of high SPF sunscreen because you will burn! :eek:
