Docking at Ports

First Time Cruiser here, so apologies if this was answered already.

 

when you dock at each port are all the activities open onboard on the ship. Sailing on LOS and really cant wait to go!!!

Yes there is still activities on board, kids program goes on, and various trivia, rockwall, skateing etc.

Certain things will not open while the ship is in port. Pools, windjammer, adventure ocean will be open (to name a few). However flow rider, rock wall, casino, WILL NOT BE! Most will be open shortly after leaving the port for the day.

Rumenromen, I have to correct you on this on. All activities are open, flowrider, rock wall, etc are all open on port days.

Not quite true..

 

According to the recent cruise compass posted for the LOS eastern itinerary the flow rider WILL be open.

 

I seem to remember everything BUT the casino being open when in port.

The only thing I notice that is closed during port time is the casino and shops. Usually, everything else is open.

The big benefit, of course, is that there are fewer people on board so there us less waiting for things you want to do.

The spa onboard usually gives discounts on port days. Most people get off ship and go into port, so the spa is looking for business. I believe the shops on the promenade will be closed.
