Cancelling and go with another?

Is it common to cancel your cruise and re-book with another one or am I an exception?

My final payment is not due until July so was I was considering cancelling Princess and re-booking with NCL. Reason being: cheaper, goes to Vancouver which I would like to see and atmosphere seems more laid back although itin. is basically the same.

Does anyone else do this?

Yep, I cancel a LOT, not only cruises but lodging, car rentals etc. Did already cancel and rebook my May cruise- to take advantage of a price drop. :)

How long did u wait for the credit card to get the credit back?

You need to call your TA. Maybe have your TA just rebook you on the other line.
