Does the smoke rise to Cabin 1247?

I just read the post about problems with smoke on balconies just above the smoking areas on the port side of the S class ships. We booked cabin 1247 on Eclipse for next Feb. That seems to be the same area as the poster's cabin, just 5 decks up. Has anyone had this cabin? Was smoke a problem? We really will be upset if we have to smell smoke on our balcony. Should we try for a different cabin? Thanks for any advice!

We were in this cabin on our last Solstice TA. You've got a huge balcony on the backside angle off the hump. Keep it. Cigarette smoke won't be a problem unless it is coming from an neighbor's veranda -- then you can call guest relations to snuff it out.
