Great review.

We sail on her before long. Did you leave the port of New Orleans on time? Some posted in the past they held the ship till around 9 due to the oil. I didn't understand this at all with the equipment they have onboard and due to the fact they sail thru it at night to return back to the port when the cruise is over.

Day 3 - Cozumel:

Word of Advice: Either get up and get in line early OR wait an hour or so and get off the ship later.

So after breakfast on the Lido, we headed down to Deck 0 to get off in to Cozumel - only to be redirected up to Deck 2 to get in line. The shop area at Puerta Maya is really nice and everyone was very helpful to us trying to find the taxi stand. We had a beach day planned at Nachi Cocom, so the kids were excited to get going.

Puerta Maya:

What is with the wall down the middle of the pier?

Did you walk down one side and back on the other?

I have never seen that wall before.

I hate it because I normally return to the ship right at sunset,

and the sunset from that pier is incredible!!

Thanks for the review and pictures. You guys are awesome to have brought your niece and nephew on the cruise, you all looked like you had a great time. You all seemed like go with the flow types which makes for a much more fun cruise. Funny how you took a "Nap" and missed dinner one night.

This will be our first time on Triumph but our fourth visit to Cozumel and 2nd visit to Progresso. Love looking through all the pictures... if anyone is reading this and can remember the name of the restaurant in progresso that gives away the free margharitas with a coupon, can you please respond with that name???

Thanks

If I recall correctly, PM is eventually suppose to be able to handle 4 ships, so, I'd guess they are working on that side of the pier to get it ready to handle a ship.

Thank you so much for those directions. I guess I didn't make myself clear. I am staying at a hotel on Julia street and I don't have a car. I wanted to know how to walk to the port from there. I thought I could walk straight down Julia and then walk along the river to get to the carnival terminal but now I'm not so sure cause it said I would have to go through the riverwalk mall. Can anyone help me with this?
