Unused OBC - can I get a refund?

We have alot of OBC for our upcoming 7 day cruise, from TA and stockholder benefit. We have prepaid our gratuities. If we don't use all the OBC will I get a refund back to my crdit card on file?

Unfortunately, no, Celebrity does not refund any unused OBC. :(

The OBC from your TA is likely refundable (assuming it came from their commission and not OBC they are passing on that comes from a Celebrity promotion). OBC from shareholder benefit is use-it-or-lose-it (i.e. not refundable). They are supposed to use up your non-refundable OBC first, and then if you have refundable OBC left at the end of the cruise, you will receive that money back.

Hmmm... we've had unused OBCs credited to our credit card twice..

It depends on the type of OBC. Some is refundable (i.e. OBC out of a TA's commission), some is not (i.e. OBC for booking a cruise on board and shareholder OBC).

One option is to go the casino and get chips from the cashier to the value of your notused OBC and charge it to your seapass account. Then go back change up the chips as they always give you it back in cash. :)

You do get hit with a 3% service charge, but that still may be a good option if one has only non-refundable OBC.

Thanks, apparently my problem, if it can be considered one, is that all of my bookings have been with Celebrity direct, not through a TA, so the only OBC I have received is the credit for booking on board, and the share holders credit. :(
