CASPALL Posted September 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2010 I'm wondering if the hairdryers on Azura are the built into the drawer type, the built into the bathroom wall type or are they the ordinary plug in ones. Can anyone tell me please? Caryl
jeanlyon Posted September 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Hi - the hairdryer in my inside cabin was loose in the cupboard. I plugged it in to the mains (US plug by the way, but there is a slot for it) - I also found it a very good dryer.
CASPALL Posted September 22, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Sounds like the same as Ventura then. Many thanks Jean Caryl
Merlin7 Posted September 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2010 The hairdryer in our balcony cabin, according to OH, was rubbish.
LibraLass41 Posted September 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2010 1600w I think, it looked the same voltage as the one we took anyway, didn't use it, but looked pretty good, we always take our own,
jeanlyon Posted September 23, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Ah well you get a better class of dryer in an inside cabin :-)

jeanlyon Posted September 23, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2010 And anyway, you don't need a dryer in a balcony cabin, you just hang your head over the rail surely?
Britchic4 Posted September 29, 2010 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2010 I have long hair and the dryer was perfectly good for me.
CASPALL Posted September 29, 2010 Author #10 Share Posted September 29, 2010 Good enough for me too then. I will NOT take my own dryer - that means room for another pr of shoes in my suitcase! Thanks everyone. Caryl
kersh Posted September 29, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 29, 2010 Caryl, the hairdriers are fine on Azura similar to the ones on Ventura. Note your future cruises we have also booked next Xmas on the Adonia. Sue
CASPALL Posted September 29, 2010 Author #12 Share Posted September 29, 2010 Glad to hear someone else is booked on Adonia Sue. I'm just hoping I don't find the ship too small. I remember the hairdryer on Ventura being fine. Thanks. Caryl
Welshcruiser20 Posted September 29, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 29, 2010 Just back from Azura and the dryers are good! So is everything else................
The Mommy Posted September 30, 2010 #14 Share Posted September 30, 2010 If hairdryers are the same as Ventura they are good. I carried mine with me as I have long difficult hair and use a salon dryer but ended up using the one in the drawer instead. I won't be taking my own on Azura
