Merion_Mom Posted September 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Hey is there any person who can tell me how the teen club in puerto rico was/direct me to a board that could. Thanks I do not understand what you are asking. Could you re-phrase your question?

zaffydad Posted September 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Why don't you re-post? You can ask if there is a large percentage of Spanish only speaking ( if that is your question) teens on the ##### of the Seas teen program on cruises originating from San Juan? ckrobyn Posted September 26, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2010 My daughter has participated in the teen club on the AOS and had a fantastic time! :D Every cruise is different, and so are the passengers.....so it is hard to say if there will be many spanish speaking teens onboard? It also depends on when you are sailing (if it is a school holiday etc). Have fun! :)
mahimahi1414 Posted September 27, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2010 Any cruise I've been on I've found more people were "local" to that port. For example, when we went to Alaska there were a lot more west coasters than when we leave from Cape Liberty, NJ. Cruises leaving from Florida usually has more Floridians etc. Two years ago we did a Celebrity cruise out of San Juan and there were a fair amount of Puerto Ricans. Because of the obvious language/culture/kids hang out with those who are like them differences, they mostly stayed together. There were a large number of teens on that ship who didn't go to the teen club, but out of those who went I'd say 25-30% were Puerto Rican or from a Latin American country. Hope this helps. griffy116 Posted September 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2010 We cruised from San Juan last June. Yes, there are lots of Puerto Ricans onboard, which includes teens. We had a wonderful time with some of the most friendly and fun people ever!!
