San Juan food store close to the pier?

I am travelling on the Summit this November, and know that you can bring on board water/soda as a carryon. I was curious to know if there are convenienient places to stop close to (or on the way to )the Pan-Am Pier. I will be flying in so I can't carry any on the flight.

 

I want to pick up a few waters and maybe a 12 pack of soda to carry on. I am arriving the day of departure, so i don't have the luxury of staying in a hotel the prior night.

 

Any assistance/suggestions would be appreciated.

The Pan Am Pier is not within walking distance of any stores. I know there is a store in the terminal building that sells bottled water, liquor and wine. Not sure if they sell soda or not.

 

There is a large Publix grocery I've seen as the taxi was leaving the airport area. You could ask your cab driver to stop there for you.

There is a CVS Pharmacy right across the street from the terminal. They have water, gum, sunscreen, nail files and LOTS more.

They are leaving from the PanAm dock not the OSJ dock. There is nothing close to PanAm dock. It would be nice to leave from OSJ dock.

The store at the Pan Am dock sells water and pop.

Is the Publix grocery store in walking distance from the airport? We are staying at the Best Western Airport hotel overnight.
