I hope you are right.....we loved him on the recent Oasis and have had Ken Rush several times and he is nowhere near as good. [sorry Ken]

We are just off the Oasis (3 weeks) and that was the buzz...I agree, Spacey is very good.

Crossing fingers and toes that it's Richard Spacey from day one...Does anyone know if Ken is on board right now?? that would answer the question!

Richard I think is the best man for the job!!!! and if I can't have him for our December 1st sailing.... Here's crossing fingers and crossing toes for our March 13th sailing on the Allure!!!!

Could not disagree with you more - love Ken, and find Spacey to be quite annoying.

To each his own, but I'm happy to confirm that Ken will be onboard with us in January. :D

We were on the Oasis in June for Ken Rush's last week. It was widely announced that week he was leaving for the Allure at the end of that week. There was even a farewell message posted on the big Aqua Theater screen for him. We felt he did a great job. He makes it look easy, and that is the mark of a great professional. I think all of the cruise directors' staffs make the week seem like it's the first time it's ever happened, and that's a tough gig. I cannot imagine doing basically the same thing each same day of the week and making it look and feel original. At least on the Oasis and now Allure, it alternates every other week. I truly appreciate all they do to make the week fun and exciting.

This was posted on Adam Goldstein's blog by Lisa Bauer:

As if the excitement from the bridge wasn’t enough, we held the first crew casino night officially opening the casino with the ribbon cutting. Everyone had a great time and a lot of money was donated to the crew welfare fund. Captain Zini was dealing black jack. Cruise Director Ken Rush has the record for the biggest loss. He needs black jack lessons!
