Frosty's Chill Imagination review 10/22-25(lots of pictures.)

Sadly after dinner a foggy haze begin to set in upon us. The realization it was almost over was upon us. My wife wanted to wash clothes for the 2nd leg of our trip and to my astonishment despite all the marvels and ease of payment thru-out the ship...the laundry room only took quarters and DIDN"T have a change machine?!?

SO I had to run up to the casino to get change.

Just as the clouds began to obscure the moon the fact we had to leave was clouding our hearts. It was fitting that as we pulled into port of miami there was a haze to great us.

Debarkation was smooth and easy, we had our bags with us so we had our last breakfast in the lido and waited for our group to be called.

I really liked the experience on carnival imagination. Service overall was really good and I truly have no complaints. One little nitpick I had was with the TV. On the majesty they would air all of the shows on TV, what I found on the Imagination they only showed the opening day show and the lido deck activities.

Why did this bother me? Well I am a ham and wanted to see our battle of the sexes show.

We had nothing to really do in Nassau no tour or excursions, so we just chilled and explored the ship. Overall I liked the service on the ship. There were some knick knack type of things that when they occured I though hmm but now I cant even recall them. We had anytime dining and that was no problem. Our dining time got progressively later. 1st night we went down at 6:30, 2nd night 7 and 3rd night 7:30. Each night it took a max of 3 minutes for us to be seated and we were seasted in the same spot.

With that said here are our wonderings around the ship.

They added a kiddy slide next to it which wasn't on my cruise

Your review was too funny!! I'm glad to see that despite you being a Royal Caribbean traveler, that you enjoyed your first Carnival cruise. Like you, when I get to the atrium and take in the lights, sounds, and the realization that this is my home for the next week, I also get overwhelmed and joyful at the same time!! I'm glad that you enjoyed your cruise and you'd probably enjoy a larger ship in the fleet, if you were taken back by the Imagination.

I pledge that this cruise I have in the next 2 weeks, to do a lot of the activities that others have done as far as shows, games, etc. This will be my 4th cruise and I never do any of the activities planned, just mainly relax. I'll be with 3 lovely women, enjoying my birthday week, and a bunch of Rick Springfield fans, so this will be quite an eventful cruise... lol

Thanks for your review Darth!

Great review and pictures Frosty - My husband & I were married in Key West while cruising on the Imagination this past March. It was wonderful to see pictures that bring back very special memories and I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as we did!

With the $40 I saved we headed to my favorite nicarauguan steak house Los Ranchos in bayside market place.

I didn't know there was Nicaraguan food so close to the cruise port! I am so pumped to try this! We spend a couple weeks down there every summer and I LOVE the food! Woohoo - already love your review.

We cruise Imagination in May - cannot wait - love that ship! Love your review! I'm a happy camper tonight and very excited about trying this restaurant!!! :D

We went to the main dinning room for breakfast the 3rd day. Looking back I wished I had just went to the lido again and brought it back to the room. I had never eaten breakfast in the Main dinning room and wanted to try it out, now I know.

Was there something in particular you didn't like? We found we enjoy eating in the MDR on sea and debarkation days.

Oh yeah....sailing on the Imagination in 12 days!! :D

what a great review and the pictures are awesome.Did you notice the ship being more clean or noticed anything new?the ship was under refurbishment a couple of weeks before your cruise?

I found the ship beautiful in every way. It was very clean and I loved the overall layout of the ship.

I had the pancakes and they were all right, I just would have prefered sitting out on the balcony chilling.
