My mom is sailing in May out of Port Canaveral. When whe gets back into port after the cruise, the itinerary says its there at 6am. What time do they start letting people off the ship? She booked a flight out of Orlando at 1230pm but the transfers dont even START until then! What are her options for getting to the airport and will she make a 1230 flight? Thanks for your help in advance!

RCCL transfers are WAY too expensive. Go with a shuttle company. We've used Cocoa Beach shuttle (google them and you'll find them). I've used them three times. It can take an hour or more to get to the airport. Keep in mind that once she gets to the airport the lines to get thru security are usually LONG, so she should try to carry off her luggage herself.

It used to be if you mentioned cruise critic to Cocoa Beach Shuttle you got a 10% discount.

Thanks. she is sailing the Freedom of the Seas. I booked her flight myself so hopefully, she will be able to make it.

Just make sure she tells them on the ship that she has an early flight (they will ask for that info about 1/2way thru the cruise), and they will make sure she's in one of the 1st groups off the ship!
