My "win" on Priceline...how bad is it?

So, I just won Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Sunrise Fort Lauderdale for $60 night. I wanted something somewhat close to the Hard Rock so I chose Plantation as a zone. This is what I got. I thought I would be getting Riverside.

 

Ok, the truth, how bad is it?

I don't know how the hotel is, but it's about 10-11 miles from the Hard Rock.

Yeah, I saw that....We are going to have a rental so that shouldn't be a problem!

I stayed there about 4 or so years ago,

from memory it was a nice hotel friendly staff and a

lively bar area in the lobby.

The reason I remember is that

when I checked in I was the guest of the day,

got a room upgrade and free breakfast and free drink at the bar.

Don't know about the Holiday Inn but Riverside is in "Downtown".

The hotel is about 30 minutes from Hard Rock, and about 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, but with a car it's easy to get around. The Riverside Hotel is in Fort Lauderdale in the Downtown zone on Priceline.

I hope it has improved since we stayed there about 7 years ago! It was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY, IMO. I would never, ever stay there again. I slept with my clothes on. :eek:
