sprite Posted December 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2010 Hello all - getting ready to board Liberty for the Eastern Caribbean and would like to know if there are any links with the current main dining room menus and/or Daily Compass. I can only find old links or other itineraries. Trying to figure the best time to schedule our night or two at Chops and don't want to miss some of my favorites in the main dining room. Thanks! caribbeanboy Posted December 27, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2010 The best thing to do is to ask the waiter the first night if you can see the menu for the whole week, so you can see on which days the menu doesn't appeal to you and you can book the specialty restaurants. cb at sea Posted December 27, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2010 The "links" will be very representative of what you'll get....they don't change much often, if ever! If you book Chops, and find that you don't like that night, just change it...it's not set in stone!
sjcruiser Posted December 28, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2010 A month or so ago there was a link with the menu for Liberty that was posted on a review. I'll see if I can find it, but as previously stated, the menu doesnt change, much.
Kellie Poodle Posted December 28, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I don't know if this will help you, but on the ships with two or three tiers of MDR, the dinner menu is usually posted by noon time outside of the dining room entrances on the top tiers. The main, lower tier is the one used for lunch, so it will post the lunch menu. We've checked the upper tiers for the dinner menu to see if we wanted to do the MDR or specialty. ckrobyn Posted December 28, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Try this link: http://www.cruisegoers.com/mariner/food/menu-and-pictures-day-1/ The menu is from the Mariner, but I was just on the Freedom last month and it was the exact same - so it is safe to assume it is fleet wide. matj2000 Posted December 28, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I doubt they have change the menus in the last 6 years...
ckrobyn Posted December 28, 2010 #9 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I doubt they have change the menus in the last 6 years... Well that is not entirely true.... The menu's have had some items added, and some taken away. I was pleasantly surprised on my Freedom cruise to see some new entrees :)
jerin Posted December 28, 2010 #10 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Formal nights on Liberty Eastern are Monday and Thursday. I tried to get menus, but they weren't available in our suite as advertised here. (There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication about what was available from room service for suites -- the room service kitchen claimed to have no knowledge of the "Suite" menu in our cabin for breakfast items, etc. It's a mess that my dad is still in the process of addressing. Oana, the concierge, was working on it as well, but with Mario on vacation, she was spread thin trying to cover both the Concierge and Diamond lounges/passengers the week we were there.
