Rare cruisestitch Posted December 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2010 You join any time after your first cruise on Celebrity. Call the Captain's Club or sign up on line.
Ocean Dancer Posted December 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2010 join before your cruise, you will get a number, and also it will be easier for celebrity to have you in the system so you'll receive invitations/coupons that you are eligible for. jambork Posted December 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2010 We just found out that we were NOT credited with our CapClub points from last year. Celebrity had both of us couples living in different states and simply gave the "new" couples Pennsylvania addresses and credits. We live in MI and MD. Nice inputing, folks. I didn't find it. My lawyer compatriot knew that Concierge club got 2 credits per year. But after 2 ConClub cruises we only had 2 credits, not the 4 we earned. I didn't remember that concierge club got an extra credit. This is not a mistake that is new to Celebrity. They are aware of it. But you are not. Be alert! Check it out. Don't let them cheat you! kathynorth Posted December 30, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 30, 2010 Are you able to see what your Captain's Club status is from the website? I log in but can't seem to find how many credits we have. Am I looking int the wrong spot? Thanks for your help!
bbappel Posted January 2, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Are you able to see what your Captain's Club status is from the website? I log in but can't seem to find how many credits we have. Am I looking int the wrong spot? Thanks for your help! On the website, click on Captain's Club and sign in - or sign up if you didn't create an identity for CC. On my Mac, there is a Membership Summary on the right side that lists Membership Number, Tier, and Credits. Then below that is a box to click that says "View Sailing History" and mine was wrong, so I got it corrected. My name confused them, it is a long long story, not worth retelling. Enjoy! and Happy New Year
snowwmax Posted January 5, 2011 #10 Share Posted January 5, 2011 We just found out that we were NOT credited with our CapClub points from last year. I didn't remember that concierge club got an extra credit. This is not a mistake that is new to Celebrity. They are aware of it. But you are not. Be alert! Check it out. Don't let them cheat you! Here is the breakdown of earning cruise credits: Three Ways to Earn Credits per Sailing Credits Earned Sailing with Celebrity or Azamara Cruises - 1 Sail on an itinerary of 12 nights or more - 1 Sailing in a CC, AQ, or Suite Stateroom - 1 Total Available per sailing 3 So if you book (or get upgraded to) a CC room you will earn 2 Credits on a cruise of less than 12 nights and 3 credits on a longer cruise. We are about to take our 3rd cruise and for the 3rd time we are CC. First cruise was an upgrade from OV to CC. 2nd and 3rd Cruise we originally booked Balconies, but then with price changes were able to get CC rooms for the original balcony price :D
