Dinner Dress Code on Glory for men? Help?

In your Carnival info that comes with your tickets it clearly says no shorts or "t-shirts" in the dining room. Although I agree...I have NEVER seen them turn anyone away...even on formal nights!

This is probably my pet peeve with Carnival. I do not see why they would allow people in shorts in the dining room - if they publish the policy that says "no". If they are going to allow shorts they should do away with the policy.

Not worried about shorts/t-shirts in the main dining room at night -- would NEVER do that!

Question Please: So there are EITHER Formal Nights (tux) or Casual Nights (golf/collared shirts with long pants) ................

If you're taking a TUX, do you also NEED a sports coat for any reason?

Happy Sailing! OCruisers :)
