Need Help With Upsell

Hi all - just got the upsell call/email. Need some help fom the experienced. I currently have a rear facing balcony on the Pearl, deck 9. I was offered an AD Romance Suite for an additional $370.00. Is this a good deal? We're not sure we want to give up the aft facing balcony (first for us). I'm not sure of the room number but she mentioned that "If you choose to take this offer we ask that you close front curtains due to light interference with the captain’s view" - so it must be up front right? Is that just a night time request regarding the curtains? So anyway what to do?

It is a night time only request. For us, a penthouse is always worth it. Only you can decide if you want to spend the additional dollars. Access to Cagney's for breakfast and lunch is one of the best perks, along with in-suite dining served by your butler.

I think you should do it. While the aft balconies are nice, upgrading to the suite is special.

Just want to add that you have to decide quickly. And, keep in mind you may never get this opportunity again to upsell. The magic fairy dust does not come around every cruise.

Sorry, one more thing. You can ask if there are other upsells available with a different cabin location if you are concerned about being forward on the ship.

Finally got a hold of the upsell desk and unfortunately I'm too late. The AD Romance Suite is an aft facing room too and it's first come, first serve :(. What a bummer...

I asked her to keep me in mind if anything else becomes available. I had been checking my emails constantly while at work everyday but today "work" got in the way :D. Oh well I know we will have a great time regardless of the room type. Thanks everyone!

Sorry I was late to the party or I would have told to book it immediately, that AD Romance Suites are aft-facing Penthouses.
