specialty restaurants

i have heard that on embarkation, you get to tates dishes at specialty restaurants. Is this true?

It just depends on the Ship and Cruise, I have only experienced it once on our 5 cruises on NCL, and it was very limited. But you never know what may happen, ask about it when you board, there will be somebody available when you enter the Ship to ask. Sometimes the best kept secrets need to be sought out!!

I haven't seen that for some time. I believe it was discontinued.

I think I saw that once, maybe 3 years ago. I don't think it's done anymore.
