GAcruiser417 Posted March 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2011 I thought I understood all the dots, square, double dots when it comes to the cabins, but now I'm confused. I'm looking to book a cabin for 4 on the Fascination. I understand that one dot = 2 singles that convert to a king, plus an upper. Does the sofa convert as well????
KroozFoolz Posted March 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2011 It is my understanding (and experience) that the Fantasy class cabins (interior including PT, oceanview, and balcony) do not have a sofa. (I believe the suites have a sofa.) If a cabin with one dot is offered as a cabin with berths for four, I think the fourth berth would be a rollaway bed. (I do not think these cabins have sofa If you see a cabin with a star- that cabin has a convertible sofa. if you see a cabin with a cross- that cabin also has a convertible sofa. This ship allows for roll aways- you could look at a cabin that only holds three-- BUT try to get a cabin with 4 beds.
firefly333 Posted March 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2011 If a cabin with one dot is offered as a cabin with berths for four, I think the fourth berth would be a rollaway bed. rollaways/trundles are never indicated on the deck plans, though it would be a good idea I think. I agree though, a triple offered to 4, means either trundle or rollaway ...wish they would state which cabins offer them though and show on deck plans. GAcruiser417 Posted March 17, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted March 17, 2011 Thanks for the insight! When we sailed on the Sensation we had 2 uppers, and I much prefer having 1 upper & a convertible sofa. With 2 uppers, there was no place for the adults to sit without bumping their heads.
