Staying overnight in port Question

Recommended Posts

We have never been on a cruise that has an overnight stay in a port. Has anyone been on an over-nighter? How does it work? Can you come and go all night or is there a curfew?

Thanks!

Come and go as you please. :)

Our overnight was in Maui...and it was fabulous!!! Stayed late, late after the Old Lahaina luau, returned by tender to the ship and woke up the next morning for a full day of excursions. That's my one and only time to stay overnight at a port.

We have an overnight in Venice coming up in October. First time we'll experience this, and I love the "built-in" "hotel" stay there. The morning following the overnight is the day we disembark ship, so I'm glad that we'll already be in port, having gotten in the day before, so we can catch an EARLY flight.
