Earliest check in time on the splendour?

We will be in venice pre cruise, someone has suggested going to the ship checking in and leaving our luggage there. I know here in the US they will not let you in the rooms until 1pm is it earlier in venice?

 

I ask because I am not willing to check in my carry on with all my electronics, etc and do not want to carry it around venice.

If you are staying in Venice already, why go out to the cruise port and back, then go again? Simply ask your hotel to hold your luggage until you are ready to go, every hotel I've ever stayed in has been happy to do so. I've even gone so far as to check luggage with a hotel I wasn't staying in (although I did eat lunch there, so they checked it before we entered the restaurant, then I came back later in the day to collect it).
