Hi David.Could you please add another way off expedition for us.1st June 2015 ... Big Kev ... Rhapsody of the Seas ... Istanbul - Black Sea RTOnce again, many thanks. :)S and P.

 

The Black Sea has been on my bucket list for ages but I don't think I will ever get to do it now. I have been following the situation as it develops over there and have my fingers crossed for you. I really hope it does not escalate into a major conflict. That region was just coming right after all its been through over the years.

No doubt RCCL will be watching as well.

Yes, ditto here re Black Sea bucket list.. We were going to book one of the regular Black Sea ship itineraries after going to the region on the Rhapsody repo.. This, almost accidently, ties in beautifully with our plans.

We certainly hope that the issues are resolved soon, more-so for the folk who live with the problems, rather than us "tourists".

 

We have previously had problems around our times visiting Egypt and Israel, but things temporarily quietened down. This is a long way off, so yes, fingers crossed.. Everything is even more crossed for our visit to Bangkok in 3 weeks time..:eek:

I've rebooked for our next cruise! I can see this becoming a bit addictive. Who needs to buy a house anyway???

 

We're booked for 17th February 2015 on Rhapsody of the Seas, 11 nights Tropical Queensland.

 

So looking forward to it!

Its a long way off but I like to be organised.

 

It will come soon enough. Will you cruise through the Panama Canal or Round the Horn?:)

HI David,

 

We will be doing the Panama Canal. My husband did it in 1978 on the Chandris Line's Britanias. It's interesting that he is now doing it again on a cruise line that has morphed from the Chandris Line. I'm sure he will be travelling in a bit better style than in 1978. I have been scanning slides that haven't been stored very well hence the poor quality.

Also interest in finding out how to get the best rates on premium

economy seats for this cruise. We live in the USA.
