Clam shells- GSC

Different people have different interpretations of what "far" means. I guess it all depends on your point of view.

I can tell you this. Once you leave the tender boat dock and start walking, the clam shells will be between you and the beach waterfront.

If you don't qualify for priority disembarkation, a reserved clamshell counts as an excursion so you will be one of the first ones off the ship and in a tender which is important. They do sell out quickly if the ship is full. Keep in mind that you are not assigned a specific shell - it is first come first serve. They are lined in rows, so if you arrive late, you may get stuck in the second row, which means you will be staring at the backs of about 50 shells. Not too fun when the view is amazing. There are quite a few palm trees on the beach which also provide shade for regular loungers, but again, the earlier you arrive the better the selection.

For example, our boat was the first launch to arrive on the island and the passengers scooped up most of the front row shells.
