Best way to get to South Beach from Holiday Inn, Port of Miami?

Hi!!

 

DH and I will be arriving in Miami around noon the day before our ship sails. We would love to venture over to South Beach for a little while. What is the best way to get there from the Holiday Inn at the Port? How much is a cab?

The bus stop is right across the street from your hotel. Just ask someone at the front desk which number bus to take. We did this when we stayed there and visited South Beach.

You may be able to get a cheap one day rental car that would end up costing less than cab fare to and from South Beach.

We stayed there last year and just took a cab out to South Beach. I don't remember how much it was but it wasn't bad at all. Plenty of cabs in front of Holiday Inn
