robertmartha Posted March 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2005 For those of you who were lucky to sail over presidents week - what was the weather and water temps? Hoping to sail next Feb and having only sailed the carib in July/Aug - wondering what the temps are like thanks all
Whiskeyman Posted March 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2005 We went 2/12, HMC on 2-13 water was about 75, Not bad, took some getting used to but it did not take your breath away. St Thomas was 80 degrees, we were on a day sail and the water temp was displayed on the boat. Hope this helped.:D
TrentS Posted March 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2005 February and winter in general is wonderful, one of the best times of year in the Caribbean. The temperatures are about as perfect as it gets, not so miserably hot and humid like in the summer.
Kathy & George Posted March 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2005 Temps in the low 80's are the rule. It is the best time of year to be there, in terms of weather. You will have an amazing time.
