Odyssey for Australia/New Zealand shore excursions

We are considering moving from Regent to Seabourn for a New Zealand to Australia cruise in 2013. For budgeting purposes, can anyone tell me what to expect for excursion prices? I am thinking around $250/person/day. Is that a reasonable amount?

Having just sailed most of the ports in Australia and New Zealand a few months ago on Crystal and being familiar with Seabourn I think what you have budgeted is quite sufficient. It's probably on the high side but that is good when one budgets. Many of the tours will be less than that but there might be a few full day ones that you might want to take that will be higher than that.

 

In some places you many not even need a tour or possibly a shore tour so you can go back out on your own.

If I were you I'd also check into the cost of private tours. could wind up costing you less.
