So this is the ONE menu I took, from another waiters station the last day. We really never looked it it, and it was not until we scanned it, my husband and I said.. "wait they had Apple Chips?"

Oh well, next time I will be more forceful in my request for a Childrens menu.

So its at this point, I am not going to upload another 100 photos.. LOL not that I don't love you all, but rather I will post the link to the site where I am putting them all.

I hope you have enjoyed my trip as much as we did - and as soon as I get all 14 days of Adventure Ocean, Cruise Compass, and Cruise Specials I will post the link on this TR.

I will also post it in my sig line, just incase this TR is deleted for have WAY to many images!

Thank you again,

T

Super Review Taylor

Brought back great memories. Especially the menu!!! :D

You’ll have to book one of the Mariner cruises for next year so you can do it all over again. Chances are you will end up with a Great CA next time.:)

Look forward to sailing with you again

Bill

I just found this thread yesterday and have been reading every chance I get. I loved all the photos and candid point of view. I have never had such a bad experience with a CA; I think you handled it much better than I. Thank you for taking the time to upload all the CC, they will help me convince our group a TA is the way to go.

I was supposed to be cooking. Instead, I chose to read your review from start to finish. Boy, was it worth it.

I know it isn't easy to write a review, and one with so many wonderful pictures. What an easy read. You did a great job.

Thanks for posting.

Foxesden1 - does this thread end May 28th? I am interested in this cruise and your review is so thorough, is there more beyond Nassau?

?

it goes to Spain, we then did a week In France at a villa, and returned via Spain. I did not do the last week because no one requested it.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thank you for being honest about your experience. A big part of our cruise is the extra attention you receive from the cabin attendants. You feel so pampered. If I had your CA i would have asked that the prepaid gratuity be removed from my account so I could tip her appropriately.

Thank you so much for posting this review! I am leaving for Barcelona next week and can't wait to be on LOS. Whatever happened with the way they stamped your documents in Barcelona? I know you mentioned it caused some trouble, but I didn't see any follow-up.

Oh that! I totally forgot. We got to the airport, to return to the USA, and they (the airline) started questioning how we arrived into spain, as they had no air record. I told them we had come by cruise, and thank the gods I had not tossed my book of documents fro. The cruise. In had to show them travel docume ts, car bookings, documents of hotel stays in France, the works. After about 20min we were able to leave.

Just prior to boarding out flight, the same person showed up again, and questioned us. He all but escorted us to our seats!

In the end, I think because they processed everyone so quickly, and they did not have pcs.. Just old school rubber stamps.. It was not clear when and how we arrived into Spain.

Wow. I don't know where to start! Great review, I read with particular interest as we are going ta on the Adventure next April 15th with our son who will be a 10wks short of his fourth birthday. I would be really interested to hear more from you about family activities on your ta and you gorgeous daughter's view on the AO programme. Can you offer me any tips for preparing my son? I have doubts about his willingness to participate.

It is stories like yours in the WJ which made me think long and hard before booking this trip, I know the bias of travellers will be older folks but in the end I thought what the hey! Our son will start school in Sept 2012 so it's our last chance for a while!! And I love the idea of arriving back to europe with no jet lag.
