:) I can only do it when I have the time...right now its fall weather up here in Northern Michigan so its time to get rid of the summer colors!

Just a suggestion: You could keep a copy of your list stored in a .txt file (using Notepad or some other vanilla text editor). Add in the codes for the colors, etc, and with the editing features of Notepad (I much prefer Textpad, a shareware program with very strong editing features), you can easily change the look and feel as it suits you.

 

Then just copy and paste into the posting window, do a Preview for checking to ensure it comes out right, and then Submit when it's done!

 

The original is kept off-line and ready to be edited again as you need.

The Allure seems to be on an 11 week captain cycle, and Capt Johnny is supposed to be on likely starting with my cruise, 8/19. If true, 77 days later would be Nov 4, so even with a week or two leeway he should be there for your cruise.

Capt. Wright has been spotted a couple of days early, in preparation for his takeover today as master, on board Radiance wearing his disguise. He is sporting a beard. He is blending in with the passengers quite well it seems. Today is uniform day which should go with the beard quite well. :)

It is, but it sounds like Captain Wright came aboard while Radiance was in one of her ports of call on her return trip from Seward.

On Radiance quite often officers and entertainers board in Juneau for ease of getting to and from the airport. It's a bit of a hassle getting from Anchorage to Seward and the flight times aren't always the greatest either.

 

Maybe the Capt. W is brushing up on his skills while Capt. C is still on board. :) Although I really doubt this is the case, he hasn't been in the rotation for a while.

Capt Claus came to RD directly from NV. He had only been home briefly from RD before being reassigned to NV. It's been a long contract for him so he has to be going home today. Since he'll be on NV until mid December that means he won't show up there until October most likely.

 

I'm wondering if Capt. Thore did in fact get a promotion or if he's just filling in before someone else shows up.

 

There seems to have been a lot of captain changes recently.

it dawned on me last night (when I couldn't fall asleep :rolleyes:) that the reason why movement is spring and fall is that's when the cruising world has its "shoulder" seasons. They seem to move the captains during the ships' slow or off season. :confused:

I think I know Capt Mattias...if its the same guy, I met him when he was Chief Officer on Sovereign in 2008, then I saw him on Navigator in 2009...I hope he's there when I sail on BR in October! He's now probably the Stf Cpt working as master until Capt Henrik comes back 9-8 for the TA.

We just returned from ExOS. Captain Henrik told us that his rotation will end at the end of the current Bermuda cruise. He said he will be back on board on 15-Nov-12.

Capt. Sindre will return to RD on November 15. He has extended time home to be with his wife and new baby. His rotation will end Jan 21, 2013.

 

As much as we miss Capt. Claus we have taken an immediate liking to Capt. Bill. He's nice, interesting, and fun and more. The crew really seems to love him, too.

Don't know for sure but did hear elsewhere that ExOS continues to have the oldest and the youngest captains in the fleet.
