sunset seekers Posted July 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2011 If this is the same group we saw, we loved them. You can see them on youtube. We are on Allure in Nov. and I hope they are still there.

mnovak61 Posted July 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2011 How did you find out who all of the entertainers would be? Did you e-mail RCI for that info? We are on Oasis 10/15 and I would love to find out the info for that cruise!
Daisy21015 Posted July 21, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted July 21, 2011 I emailed them and they responded withing a few hours. I believe they know 4 weeks out? Someone else may know better on that. The e-mail was web_reservations@rccl.com (it's web_reservations)
Aquahound Posted July 21, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2011 This will be the Headliner on the 7/31 Allure Sailing. Anyone see this - how was it?? Thanks! Yes, I have. This genre is common for RCI headliners. I've seen The Temptations, Drifters, Platters, and Coasters on RCI ships. Of them all, The Temptations were my favorite. I also just recently saw them here in Key West. Their show is excellent.
Canadian Tyler Posted July 21, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2011 If it's the same group we had on Serenade (which I think it is from looking at the YouTube videos) they were great! I wasn't sure at first when they came out, but they soon had me and I'm not a huge fan of the music genre but it was a great show.
joand452 Posted July 21, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Thanks - I will look them up. Here is the rest of the list - any feedback? Tribute to Temptations Tribute Act Mike Wilson Comedy / Impressionist Rondell Sheridan Comedian Kevin Brando Schooner Pianist Jimmy Blakemore Pub Entertainer Smooth Sailing Duo Floating Centrum DUO Bruce Gordon Jazz Quartet Jazz Quartet Manati Salsa Latin Quarter We've seen the Tribute to Temptations act twice. I enjoyed them, but I'm a fan of Motown. DH...not so much. We saw Rondell Sheridan on our 2nd Mariner cruise. He was hysterical! Of course, it was the first night and a number of us from our roll call were wearing matching shirts. And sitting up front. He picked on me for his entire act. I loved it!! They're the only two acts I remember. Hope you love Allure as much as we did!
samoyedlover24 Posted July 21, 2011 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2011 We were on Mariner last August and saw them—my absolute favorite show of the cruise! They were excellent, would not hesitate to see a show of theirs again. As for you, certainly don't miss the opportunity to see them, so go ahead—book the headliner show!:D:) —samoyedlover24
sjcruiser Posted July 22, 2011 #10 Share Posted July 22, 2011 Saw them on the Liberty in January, and yes, they are definitely one of the best headliners we have seen so far!!!! They can sing, are very engaging on and off stage. Before we had seen the show, they could be seen around the ship, looking and acting like normal passengers, and joined in conversations several times in Sorrento's, Cafe Promenade, or in the casino. After the show, they were the same way. Really down to earth. I think the one who sings bass worked with Stevie Wonder for 20+ years. They are one of the shows I wish to see live again!!!
