New Souv. cups??

We just got off the Inspiration 10 days ago and they offered both of the new ones. The disco was sold in the clubs and lounges at night and was offererd more than one night. The blowfish was offered at the pool area and different days as well.

I think they call the fish one "Coral Fish"

I only bought the emply whale tail cup for $4.95 +15%, i asked two different bartender and both said only can put DOD in it, I dont like the DOD for that day and was able to buy the empty cup :D

Both the fish and disco ball were under $15 including the 15%

So, let me get this straight.

 

The Whale Tail, Disco Ball and Coral Fish are all sold only with the Drink of the Day, at a premium price on certain days?

Whale Tail sold anywhere? Disco Ball in the clubs/lounges? Coral Fish at pool bars?

All around $15 ea + 15% gratuity? :eek:

 

????

From my experience, I only saw the coral fish cup around Lido pool, it was filled with a special watermelon drink, not DOD. I never asked about whether you could put anything in the fish cup. It was $14 sthg including the 15%.

 

The disco ball, when I saw them in Amber palace theater, the server said you can put anything in it. I got mine from the Casino bar, the bartender told me only can put classic cocktail in it. It was also $14 sthg including the 15%.

 

The whaletail cup, I asked two different bartenders on Lido, they both said you can only put DOD in it. I don't like the DOD for that day so I just bought the empty whale tail cup, it was $4.95 plus the 15%.

 

This is just from my own experience, Hope this helps :o

$14 filled with DOD?!? After that, isn't it only $5.95 to fill?..That's kind of silly, cause you just just buy the cup and have them 're-fill' it for a cheaper price...?

Gunther, I wish you were right about a DOD refil for $5.95 but that sounds "way too good to be true!":cool: Did you see that printed somewhere? Someone on this forum stated you save around $.75 on a refil. I hope you are right though....;)

They got me, I got all the souvenir cups that I saw except the monkey head one.

 

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I absolutly must have the little fish, super cute!!!! :D :D Does anyone know wether they have them on the Dream?

Don't care about the monkey head or the disco ball, already have a whaletail, and I have enough of the tall, clear (or yellow, or pink) ones to start my own cruiseline, haha but I definatly need the fish!! :D

 

do the new disco ball and fish glasses have the carnival logo or ship name imprinted on them?

 

I would imagine they'd have 1 or the other!! :D I'm sure someone here knows!! :D

Just read on another post that on the Ecstasy recently they had two new cups..an orange blow fish, and a sort of disco ball thing? My sis loves to collect these things, does anyone know if this was just something special or if they are now on all the ships? Especially the Triumph, which we will be on in Oct. Any help much appreciated!

 

 

They had the disco ball one on the Victory in May.
