Just wondering, what information do you need to give the Carnival Players Club when you call? Thank you!

 

general name address phone your carnival # if you have one you do if you have cruise once with them

your ships name booking # and date you are embarking

 

if you have your last Booking # of your last cruise and the ships name and the date of last cruise on Carnival very easy stuff if you are missing any thing michael will e mail you and ask for it I did not have the booking # but did have my ship name and date that seemed to be enough as once he has other info he can look up previous trips good luck!!!!

I got 40.00 off our cabin heard back tonite finnally, so in essence we got upgraded from a 4A to 6A at the 4A price as I paid 40.00 for the 6A up grade for the 3 of us, and got it back, after the sale this last weekend. :D

 

I had booked 3 cabins and today heard back about the 2nd one we got a 40.00 OBC for that one too!! still waiting to hear about the 3rd one, if that comes through I will be a Happy camper thats 120.00 savings for us plus the nice Upgrade to the 6A cat.

do not know if that helped or not lolol I need to uncross everything its been 4 days they have been crossed a long time lol still waiting on my daughters booking do not know what the hold up is the other double cabin got the credit so they should also be due one, we need every extra penny we have to hire a shuttle van when we arrive in orlando to take us to the cruise terminal thats a big expense altho I did shop around and found one alot less expensive, I called around and checked they wanted up to 250.00 for 7 of us round trip I found someone for 180.00 roundtrip, I am in the wrong business I think I should be picking people up at the airport and taking them to the cruiselines in my area they have you by the balls at these places where the ports are an hour away or more carnival wanted 31.00 round trip each and since we are going one day early they could not accommadate us for the day before. so you know where those credits are going!!!

Boy I bet your excited!! less then 3 weeks and you will be in paradise!! I will be counting down with you guys and hope you have a great time, and hope the weather is perfect for you both!!. I am still waiting on my 3rd cabin to see if we will get the 40.00 discount on it aparently Carnival has received hunds of forms on the discounts, and thet said in a email if I qualify they would let me know I am happy we got the 2 but the third would be the icing on the cake!! will cross fingers again :)

well I guess we will not get the 3rd cabin discount have not heard anything at all about it if its going to happen I will know when we make the final payment on that cabin, or we will have an OBC when we get on board. I have started our roll cal list, people are slowing getting on board with it, we get new people almost every week, so we have a small group chatting now and getting excited, I am making my final payment Sat. so now I just have to save for the excursions and my gambling and our ground trans. I smuggle our tequila on board and we bring wine as you can bring 1 bottle per person carry-on and 12 pack of sodas so it looks to be all coming together slowly but surely, I need to find a store close to our port as I do not want to carry soda from jersey to fla. the wine is ok to pack but them 12 packs are heavy lololol, when we reach our port I have to scout around, I try to scope all the the things around our different ports, so I know whats available for people who may ask on the blogs, Miami and New Orleans, I think are great ports as all the shopping is so close we walked out of our hotel and you are in a shopping center, we stayed in Galveston and tampa that was ok but not great unless you have a car to get around, Ft Lauderdale had a Market (Mixed shopping) area next door to the port a 2 block walk and pubic buses were available, to take you to shopping malls for under 2.00 I found that out after we paid 20.00 for a taxie ride oneway and then asked a local who turn us on to the bus line that takes you right to the port they need to have a liason at the ports to tell people about alternate transportaion other then the taxies who rob you blind I think the last cruise we were on we spent more money on US taxies then we did on the 4 ports that we visited (taxi wise) How many more days Bliss!!!!!!!!!!:D

GOOD TO KNOW SOMEONE IN GALVESTON AS THAT PORT IS SO OUT OF THE WAY WE WENT A FEW YEARS BACK, ON (ECSTASY) THERE WERE 7 OF US WE RENTED A VAN AT THE AIRPORT ONE WAY WHICH WAS QUITE HELPFUL AS WE STAYED THE NIGHT AND IT WAS REALLY NICE TO HAVE A VAN TO USE OVER NIGHT AND THE CAR RENTAL PLACE BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE HOTEL AFTER WE TURNED IN THE VAN, IT WAS SO CHEAP AT THE TIME IT WAS 55.00.

THEY WANTED 300.00 R/T FOR US AND THAT DID NOT INCLUDE THE PARTY COMING IN LATER THAT NITE, WHEN WE RETURNED WE OPTED FOR THE BIG BUS FROM CARNIVAL TO GET BACK TO AIRPORT THAT WAS 140.00 FOR THE 7 OF US WE ENJOYED OUR STAY THERE WE ATE AT A MEXICAN PLACE RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE BEACH, OUR HOTEL WAS ON THE BEACH SIDE AND THERE WAS A COUNTRY BUFFET NEXT DOOR AND A WALMART AND LIQUOR STORE A BLOCK OR SO AWAY SO AS LONG AS WE HAD THE VEHICLE WE WERE OK. Someone asked if anyone had ever contacted OP and then received nothing....

Well, we contacted them one time and received 2 fruit/cheese baskets, a bottle of wine and they decorated our cabin with banners and streamers. Then every day we received cut fruit with cheeses in the evening and a basket arrangement of flowers about mid-week.

 

The next time we cruised, we contacted them and all we got was a "congratulations and welcome back" e-mail. Believe me, we gambled plenty on that cruise...my husband is there nearly every moment the casino is open.

 

We figured it was part of the cut-backs But...cruising on the Magic in December and we will be contacting them again, just in case!

just wondering did you take the email to the casino cage or the host to show him as I receive an e mail a few times and took to cage and they look up your name to see if you qualify for anything or comps

I went exploring on google earth there is a gas station/store 2 blocks from our hotel and the restuarant we will be eating dinner at, is in a strip mall and there is a market there so I feel abit at ease knowing we will be close to shops and things so I can now relax lololol think I will have every one pack a bottle of their favorite wine before they leave as I know I had trouble finding my yago sangria last time we went to the southern states had to buy an off brand yuck!!!!! also I seen there was a bus stop in front of the hotel on the corner, so there is a bus that travels astronuat bld. yeah I guess I sound a bit crazy huh but I need to know all the details around me before I leave home lolol

So glad you found that out. Sounds like you're all set. I'm a planner too so i hate not knowing stuff. Great news! A suite opened up finally on our cruise, got it for 400 more so I'm super excited now. Finally getting into the cruise mode, been doing laundry and deep cleaning my house since the inlaws are gonna arrive while we're gone, my kids think i've lost it. Conveniently they both want to go somewhere this weekend as soon as I mention cleaning, lol. Oh and there's a slim chance Jas may be home Sunday, so not near as late as we thought.

so happy you got your suite now you have a nice 2nd honeymoon room to celebrate I am going to call in late december and see if any balcony cabins are available I really do not mind keeping the ocean view but if the price is right its worth thinking about, since we are on only a 5 day I really do not like to spend to much more I would rather use that money to put a deposit down on a future cruise, well I am thrilled that everyone got thier comps from casino always call even tho you think you may not be eligible as you never know Carnival is very customer friendly!!! ;D
