Premium Bon Voyage Package

On the Destiny I received the chocolate covered strawberries, on my last cruise in August I received the premium bv pkg, which was the 2 bottles of water, fruit basket and wine.

On my last cruise I lost alittle over $2000 (oh well). I am sailing again in November, so first I notified OPC by phone because I noticed that their website is down and I was told that I would have $120 at the casino for me. Then I thought I would email OPC and ask again that way I would their response in the form of an email. And this is the email they sent me:

Thank you for contacting the Ocean Players Club.

We will be happy to extend to you a Premium Welcome Aboard gift to the value of $50, to get your cruise off to a great start. Your casino host has been notified and will look forward to meeting you on this cruise.

Thank you and have a wonderful cruise!

Regards,

OK, I'm confused. Sounds like I might be getting the premium bv pkg again. But it seems to me that the pkg I received in August is over $50. I only cruise once a year and always spend too much in the Casino, and for the last seven cruises I have been part of OPC. I keep seeing posts what others have received and it's alot more than me, I wonder what I'm doing wrong, besides losing money (but I have fun doing it!).

So can anyone tell me what the heck I'm getting?

make sure you take your e mail copy with you introduce yourself to the manager at casino they may have you in the computer for money comp cash back I was surprised once with 75.00 after I got on board when I stop in with my letter from OPC. also there may be a envelope in your cabin from casino so make sure you check there also, I am sure you will receive something if you inserted your S/S card in slots or gave your card to the tables coup. when you were gambling remember that they rate you at tables just like land base casinos

I am enclosing Phone # to OPC call 1-800-522-7466 extention 16034 this is Michael Bayona lead casino VIP coodinator, he is the one I heard from, I would call rather then e mail this late in the date maybe he can tell you whats up with your request at this point, have all your information handy in case he needs it again good luck

Sorry to intrude on this (semi) private conversation, but I thought I'd post what I received last week on Glory.

This was supposed to be a Deluxe Bon Voyage Package...

2234742230102755439S600x600Q85.jpg

There was a bottle of Chardonnay, lots of fruit (bananas, oranges, apples (green and red), pears, kiwi, purple grapes), a package of dried fruit, two packages of almonds, several packages of table water crackers, 2 ea of three different types of soft cheese.

Wish I would've received something like this when I had sailing companions! I ended up giving most of the fruit to a tablemate who explored Bermuda with me. I brought home the bottle of wine (I drove to port) and the crackers and almonds that I didn't eat.

The only thing I ate was some cheese and crackers, a few grapes and a pear. I left behind the cheese and fruit I didn't consume because customs states that you shouldn't bring this stuff into the states (even though it originated there).

Oh, I also got the photo coupon in the dining room the first night. I meant to give it to one of my tablemates (I rarely do photos onboard), but forgot and also brought that home.

And I cashed in my $75 casino cash voucher the first night.

Just a note~ the photo coupons do not expire so take them on your next cruise and use it or give it away then~

Wonderful to know what we should've received. Would have loved it but glad you got yours :-) We ended up getting the drinks on us cards so that was nice :-)

I called the Player's Club just know and my husband was ellgible for the Deluxe Package which has the Champagne, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Picture Frame I think. Anyhow it will be in our room on the Magic Thanksgiving weekend.

Well, mine was supposed to be "Deluxe" and you can see that it doesn't match what lsp listed.

I also got the two big bottles of water. I had carried on two smaller ones, not realizing that I'd have those in the cabin. Ended up dragging one of those home, too!

I had taken a copy of my email stating I'd receive the gift, just it case it never showed up. It wasn't in the cabin when I boarded (about 11:30), but it was when I returned after lunch.

Hi lisa, :) hope you are feeling well thoughts with you, on your pkg!! sorry it was not there, that is why I print everything opc send me and turn it over to the casino manager in case some one screws up in the office, and nothing is in my cabin, so far I have been very lucky and got my gifts with out any problems, it would have been nice if they had not forgotten you, I have 12 more mondays and 81 more sleeps you must follow us on our roll call as it is slowly picking up we have 20 pax so far it is slow going they do not visit every day on the forum miss talking to anyone about cruising it makes the time go faster I think!!! hope you and DH had a great time and thanks everyone for posting pics and letting us know what you received I am hoping for a 75.00 comp as I was offered that offer over rhe summer if I booked, so have my fingers crossed it will be with my gifts, I have been busy ordering t shirts and beach totes for my little group and we are doing a grab bag event with our roll call and I am running a contest on our roll call for a gift and have some door prizes to give away at our M&G so I am keeping focused on that.

I finished my home depots last week, they called me and asked if I would give them a week to visit 14 of the stores to just inspect and fluff any trees that

may need touch up, as big shots flying in to inspect stores to see their product so thats an extra paycheck yeaaaa!!!!!! :D looking forward to your review

I sent an email a few weeks ago and never received a response. What email address did you use?

Note: the money was from a voucher that came wanting me to book a cruise by 4/30/11 and sail before 12/31, I think. I already had the cruise booked, but was told that I could still redeem the voucher.

So that is entirely separate from the gift basket.

I still don't know the difference between Deluxe and Premium packages! All I know is that mine was supposed to be the Deluxe. Maybe they just give whatever they feel like (or have the most supplies of) for any given sailing on any given ship.

We dont sail until April is it too early to contact the Players Club to see if we qualify? Also we aren't player club members but usually play a lot while on board I'm sure it should show through our past guest # has anyone else received anything and not been members?

No it is not too early. I sail on April 8, 2012 and I called last week. I had sent several emails and received no response, so I called. We qualified for the premium bon voyage package and I am thrilled! :)
