Ggdean Posted September 30, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Lucky you. Enjoy! We were looking to upgrade from an inside to the grande suite for $168 a person and while I was getting the okay from Hubby on the other phone it was gone. Just like that. I was so close. :(

Entire cruise. 5 night. But there are 5 of us. So it was $842 in total which was still an amazing deal. Wound up booking a second cabin since hubby thought the second room and bathroom was more practical with little ones. I'm not so sure I agree.
Winterstale Posted October 1, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted October 1, 2011 Thanks everybody! You know...normally I wouldn't have gone for it...but when they called....I was sitting at my desk after a really tough day...my mom is very sick and I've just been kind of low...so when I heard that voice say "hi, Bridget, this is Kevin from Carnival"...I thought "upsell fairy???" and when it was an upgrade from a spa interior to a spa balcony...I just couldn't refuse. If it had been a regular balcony room, I would have passed. I've done balconies on Disney Wonder and Disney Dream...but I am psyched for the SPAAAA balcony :D
