I researched this and found the Centers for Disease Control have a current update in place, as of today... Oct 11, 2011. It seems it was posted initially in September but the "information is still current as of today".

Thanks! Was packing it for Florida air boat tour and hadn't thought that I'd need to apply in Nassau.

I always pack the bug spray but have never taken it out of the suticase, this year I will. I had already been reading threads about how bad the bugs were on HMC, and after reading this for Nassau, I will use the bug spray.

You might want to pack some mosquito repellant folks. Since I don't see it noted here, thought it worth referring you to the Princess post

Nassau was one of our stops a week ago tomorrow and we got no upfront mention or notice from Carnival on the 'outbreak' until we boarded the ship. Would have been nice if they send alerts to their passengers. Thanks for posting this for those not aware.
