There was also a Mardi Gras Celebration with bead throwing in the lobby atrium at 11:45 that we missed. I was hoping to attend, but I’m up super early on these cruises…..so had to get my beauty sleep.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Although I’d been to Grand Cayman before, this time I’d booked a tour and stringray adventure with Native Way Watersports! I highly recommend this excursion which I booked directly at a cost of $60pp. We were off the ship via tender and on the pier a little before 8am. We found Eldon, our drive and co-owner of Native Way, who advised we’d be leaving at 8:30. We took the extra time to walk around the port shops. It was another Blazing day! [/SIZE][/FONT]

[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]At 8:30 we met back with Eldon and walked to our van. At first I was concerned with how full the van was until I found out that we actually consisted of 2 separated tour groups. We were all going to the marina to swim with stingrays, but once at the marina we split into 2 groups based on tour. After the stingrays, our group of 11 (Krystal, myself and a family of 9) were going on an island tour while the other group was going to rum point. [/FONT][/SIZE]

Are there any beaches near the boat tender area to just spend the day on the beach? They love the beach, but was also thinking of doing the turtle farm...any imput would be great. Your review is awesome. Can't wait to see the rest of it :)

There's no beach directly at the port, but you can take a taxi a short distance to Royal Palms in GC. It's the beach went to in my Destiny Review. My little brother and stepdaughter LOVED it!

The Turtle Farm actually has a beach, so it might be an excellent choice for you guys.

Thanks! My cousin freaked out when they got too close, but I remained calm. Honestly, they just come around looking for food and when you have none they go about their business. They're really friendly and as long as you respect them and their space it's all good :)

It’s just a store, nothing fancy and we were told if any liquor is purchased the island has made an agreement with the cruise lines to personally deliver all purchases made to the ship. Therefore, you won’t be able to leave the store with liquor you purchased. [/B][/FONT][/SIZE]

[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri][B]It was an amazing day in Grand Cayman. I can’t believe how sweet and calm the stingrays were and the water was crystal clear. This place is paradise. We were back at the pier by 2:00pm. We stopped at It’s Sugar for gelato, texted home to tell our worried mothers we survived the stingrays and headed back to the tenders. [/B][/FONT][/SIZE]
[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3][B]Tonight was the past guest party. Krystal enjoyed the free cocktails. The appetizers were slow in being passed and unfortunately not very good. I’ve tasted better samples at BJs Wholesale, LOL. It was much better on Destiny last year. But hey….who doesn’t like free liquor and food![/B][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3][B]After dinner, Krystal went back to the cabin while I attended the 9pm show - Experience The Evolution With The Juggling & Physical Comedy of Edge. It was fantastic!!! I really wish Carnival would include more of these variety type shows. Edge is a family friendly, comedic juggler and former circus clown with Ringling Bros. Seriously entertaining and fun for the whole family. Don’t miss this one.[/B][/SIZE][/FONT]
