VIP Question

We have all booked balcony cabins except for one couple that booked a suite. We are on the Magic. Does Carnival send something like a canape tray or something to those with VIP status or only platinum? I want to send them something as this is their first cruise, but if they will already be receiving somthing like that, I will do something else.

They only do that for Platinum

The only thing that the people who booked the suite will get is VIP embarkation, so they will be in a completely separate line than you will be to check in and board the ship.

I believe they only send a tray to platinum members not suite members.

The canape tray is kind of gross. Too much salmon, breads end up wet. Get chocolate strawberries or the petit fours. The cakes are delish too.

I started a thread which compares the perks that suite guests receive on a few different lines (Carnival, Princess, NCL, and Celebrity). You'll note in this LINK that Carnival is at the bottom of the totem pole... To be fair, they have the least expensive suites - so you do get (somewhat) what you pay for.
