MaryAnn261 Posted November 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2011 We have sailed out of NOLA 3 times and Carnvial has always been the only ship leaving that day. Now that NCL and RCI are both sailing from there - do they share the same dock and parking lot? Wondering if the port parking lot is ever full? Thanks to everyone in advance for answers. rvsullivan Posted November 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2011 There are two embarkation points in NO. There are never more than two ships there at one time. So far parking has not been an issue and I think it was taken into consideration when new ships were added. NCL and Carnival have both been sailing for quite some time now with no issue, so it's only one more ship being added I think.
maldenmusic Posted January 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2012 I cruised out of NOLA in April 2011 and our ship, the Triumph was the only one there.
Rare mitsugirly Posted January 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2012 When we sailed NCL in September, Carnival was there one day and NCL was there the next.
Lynda59 Posted January 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2012 We have the NCL Spirit and the RCI Voyager of the Seas here until mid-April. We have two Carnival ships year-round - the Conquest with 7 day cruises (switching between Eastern and Western Caribbean) and then we have the Elation with 4 and 5-night cruises. An NCL ship (Star) and an RCI ship (Navigator of the Seas) will be back again in November.
