You can pick up lots of differnt excursions inside the visitor's center. oucan go to a motu for the day, do a shrk/ ray/ snorkel trip, go to the coral gardens or do a circle island tour. Much bettter prices onshore than through the ships.

laurieb, I'm curious about prices, since I'll be on the PG in six weeks, and usually take the ship's excursions. Only the afternoon is available, so no full-day motu picnics. There's a 4 hour lagoon and snorkelling trip, for instance, which sounds like the circle tour--they take you in a boat around the lagoon, and to a motu for snorkelling and refreshments (not a picnic.) Then they take you to Taputapuatea.

 

Do you know the independent price for this tour?
