Bob100 Posted April 8, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2005 Any thoughts on independent tours on Raiatea? Thanks!!!
laurieb Posted April 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2005 You can pick up lots of differnt excursions inside the visitor's center. oucan go to a motu for the day, do a shrk/ ray/ snorkel trip, go to the coral gardens or do a circle island tour. Much bettter prices onshore than through the ships.
Rare MVPinBoynton Posted April 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2005 Part of our CC group went with Stephane and were very pleased with him. I am pretty sure that Chamima will tell you all about it.
10X Posted April 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2005 We did Bruno's excursion in February and were quite pleased. However, I understand he's gotten quite pricey, $130pp.
Wendy The Wanderer Posted April 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2005 laurieb, I'm curious about prices, since I'll be on the PG in six weeks, and usually take the ship's excursions. Only the afternoon is available, so no full-day motu picnics. There's a 4 hour lagoon and snorkelling trip, for instance, which sounds like the circle tour--they take you in a boat around the lagoon, and to a motu for snorkelling and refreshments (not a picnic.) Then they take you to Taputapuatea. Do you know the independent price for this tour? Thanks, just trying to make comparisons.
