Casino on Quest?

Small casino, relatively quiet. Two or three BJ tables, roulette wheel, slots and eletronic poker. I played every night and there was a core of 10 or 15 players. Usually closed down fairly early...midnight or so. Nevertheless it was a lot of fun because the casino staff was as friendly as accomodating as the rest of the crew.

Ours was a 14 day Med cruise and we could not have enjoyed it more!

Cheers

Once you are onboard you will see that there just isn't room for a craps table, nor is there that kind of staff.

Small ships means a bit of a sacrifice here and there and this would be one of them...

Hey I'm fine with it. I only play craps, so it will save me money for more spa appointments and excursions. I can totally see how craps does not fit that style of cruising. It can get rather loud if things start going well.

I think after the craziness of all the wedding planning, you will really like the quiet pampering of Azamara.

It will be like 1 BIG exhale!!!!!! :D

Obviously you have not cruised with me when I get REALLY loud during the Scotch tasting in the Casino Bar........nevermind what happens when I win at Blackjack. Come to think of it I am pretty loud and rambunctious during trivia too!!! OH shopping, maybe eating, definately afternoon tea.....

OMG .... I think I am just ..... OH WELL .... HAVING TOO MUCH FUN ALL THE TIME!!!

;)

One more sleep till I am at it again!!!!!! :D

I thought the casino on Quest was far too big and intrusive for the size of the ship. On our cruise in September I was told by a senior officer that when the ship goes in for its next refit (not sure when that is) the size of the casino will be halved to make better use of the space.

Anyone happen to remember the table minimums for blackjack? We love to play but like to play with as little as possible! :)

Hi Scottam,

I believe they had a $5 Blackjack table. 3 Card Poker was always $5 minimum - though if you know the game, it's never really $5, as 2-3 wagers are involved. I hope this helps !

Thanks! Yes, $5 tables is just what I wanted to hear! :)

There are, but I did not participate or pass through the casino when they were occurring. Certainly will depend on the specific cruise as far as how many people may participate. The casino in general was pretty quiet when I was onboard.

Wondering if there are texas hold-em tournaments on the ships?

Could be fun.
