Thanks for posting the dailies. It will help us have an idea of what we might like to participate in. We're sailing March 4th.

I am not sure about the daily use thing because I didn't look into it. I cannot imagine NCL not selling some sort of daily use pass, though.

We were also on this cruise and had a really wonderful time. If you sail on the Pearl in the near future and if they have the Bavarian buffet do not miss it. It was absolutely the best meal we had on this cruise and ranks as one of the best ever on a cruise (including meals in speciality restaurants). This was not surprising since the Head Chef on the Pearl is Bavarian. We only had three disappointments.

1. We did not stay in a suite and so had to go through check-in with all the other regular folk. We are lattitude members and even with that check-in was a disappointingly long process.

2. It rained while we were in Ocho Rios.

3. We also carried our own bags (after 3 previous cruises we've figured out how to pack everything we need into two airline approved carry on bags). Customs took too long.

note that none of the above was under the control of the Norwegean Pearl although NCL certainly had control of the 1st complaint.

We loved the Pearl, this was our second trip on a jewel class vessel, and we have never been disappointed by our onboard experience.

Thanks Jeebs for all the info and sheets....Were on the Pearl this coming May to Alaska and are in Suite 10664...Guess its right across from where you were on the other side.....

Couple of Questions?

Can you Order items like French Toast/Pancakes in the room?

Does the Couch Fold-Out.....My Mother In-Law is joining us, shes a Small Lady and doesnt need alot of space, lol.....Plus she is GREAT at giving us plenty of Alone Time during the cruise.....:D

Also Thanks for the Heads-Up about Cagneys for Dinner.....I'm like you and LOVE MY STEAKS.....But WILL NOT be paying for some BAD Steak....

We also eat at Ruth Chris here in Beverly Hills and some other Nice Steak Houses as well......One thing though is that a few weeks back We stopped at our Local Sizzler for lunch after seeing a commercial offering NEW HAND CUT TRI TIP STEAKS......Wasnt expecting much of course but it was just for a quick lunch...BUT MAN, The Tri Tip was VERY VERY GOOD...Perfectly Cooked either Medium Rare or Medium is how we had them and PERFECTLY SEASONED......We were SO SURPRISED and would put it above some other places weve been and the price was like $15.00 including the salad bar...LOL......Dont know if all the Sizzlers around are like this BUT we'll be back for sure...:D

On our recent Princess Hawaii Cruise We were Comped Dinner by the Casino at the Crown Grill.........WOW!!!!!!!.....It was Top Notch and I would ALMOST Compare it to Ruth Chris.....They brought Out ALL the Different Cuts of Steaks for you to look at before ordering and Each Steak was Cooked and Seasoned to PERFECTION Plus the Lobster was Fabulous as well....

Now I'm Getting Hungry and its only 6:30 Am here in Los Angeles...Gotta get some breakfast going....

One last thing.....Did you guys Play in the Casino?.....We Are huge Casino Players and Love Poker, Black Jack, Craps, Slots, etc.....

Thats one thing that made us choose the Pearl for Alaska...They gave us a Killer Deal on the Suite and FREE Drink Cards while in the Casino....Last NCL Cruise we saved over $500 by Weeks End on Drinks Alone.

Thanks Again, LacaL

Thank you so very much for the dailies!!

I love seeing the itineraries! I was kind of surprised at the early reembarkation at Cayman though. I noticed too, not as many movies offered on deck (Atrium?) as some other cruises I've been on.

Jeebs ~

Thank you for taking the time to scan and post all of these awesome freestyle dailies and the menus ... we are going on the March 4th cruise and this makes it even more exciting. Nice to see these in advance so you can wiggle in as much as you can without missing an ounce of fun Thanks again!

Thanks for all the information!! I sailed the Pearl to Alaska in 2008 and am traveling again on the repo. cruise from L.A. to Miami in Sept. 2012. It really is a great ship! I saw a mention of a "Water Package" in your posting. Is that similar to the soda package, just with water? I have seen other threads about "bringing on water vs. water on board". I'm undecided about that. Did you try an internet package? I see they claim wifi is available in the cabins now too. Thanks again for the information!!!
